I am very excited that one of my images from my FAITH project will be part of the Round Hole Square Peg 4 exhibit at PHOTO LA Jan. 30 through Feb 2. Round Hole Square Peg is a biennial international survey of the queer photographic gaze and PHOTO LA is the longest running contemporary art fair on the west coast.

After PHOTO LA, Round Hole Square Peg 4 moves to the City of West Hollywood's Plummer Park Gallery for a longer museum-like run from February 8-March 4, 2020, with a special opening and closing night reception.

Opening night in West Hollywood will feature a celebrity-driven, live photography auction to benefit The Trevor Project: the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to LGBTQ youth and the ONE Archives Foundation: a vital resource for showcasing the trailblazing history and rich culture of LGBTQ communities through exhibitions, public programs, and education initiatives that pull from the largest collection of LGBTQ archival materials in the world.

My image from a fight in a punk squat in Bogota, Colombia will be on display at Praxis Photo Arts Center in Minneapolis as part of a group show entitled "After Dark". Opening night is November 22nd, 2019 from 6-8PM and the exhibition will be on show through Dec 22nd, 2019.

A few years ago this one was plastered on the side of Nat Geo's Museum during FotoWeek DC (RIP). Glad to see it's still got life!

I am excited to have three images in Exposed DC’s new exhibit in the Crystal City Underground in Washington, D.C. For those not in the DC area, Crystal City is an neighborhood in the southeastern corner of Arlington County, Virginia, south of downtown Washington, D.C. Due to its extensive integration of office buildings and residential high-rise buildings, the area uses underground corridors to travel between stores, offices, and residences without going above ground. It’s kind of like Toronto in a way.

Exposed DC takes advantage of many of the long stretches of corridors to hang photographs. They have done several exhibits there over the years and they are pretty mammoth shows. The show this spring features 62 photographers with probably over 100 images printed very large, 3 X 5 feet usually. It’s pretty awesome as there is massive amounts of foot traffic through this area due to all the businesses and the metro system.

This upcoming Spring exhibit is about color, how it is seen, captured, and used through photography.

The Spring 2019 exhibit will be installed on March 31.
